Counsel is an online marketplace operated by TeqBooster that facilitates discovery of, and consultation booking with, independent lawyers. Counsel is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. All legal services are provided solely by the independent lawyers you engage.
Use of the platform — including browsing profiles, booking consultations, or exchanging messages — does not create an attorney–client relationship between you and Counsel or TeqBooster. Whether and when an attorney–client relationship is formed with a lawyer is determined solely between you and that lawyer under the rules of the jurisdiction in which TeqBooster operates and the lawyer practices.
Lawyers on the platform are independent professionals responsible for the accuracy of their credentials, their licensure and good standing, the quality of their services, and their compliance with all professional-conduct rules that apply to them. A "Verified" badge indicates that documents were reviewed by our team; it is not a guarantee of licensure, competence, or outcomes.
The in-platform chat is provided for scheduling and general communication around a consultation. It is not a substitute for the confidential channels a lawyer may be professionally required to use. Avoid sharing highly sensitive case details in chat; discuss confidentiality expectations directly with your lawyer.
Consultation prices are set by lawyers. Users must not use the platform to harass others, misrepresent identity or credentials, or move agreed platform interactions off-platform to circumvent its protections. Accounts that violate these terms may be suspended or blocked.
The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TeqBooster is not liable for the acts, omissions, or advice of independent lawyers, nor for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reasonably communicated.
